  1. Federal agents and the St. Louis Police Department have indicted 14 individuals connected with the St. Louis area "55 Boyz" fentanyl distribution ring. Among the 14 individuals are a few popular rappers. Indicted Davante “Jizzlebuckz” Lindsey and Andre “Luh Half” Pearson, both 25-years-old, have large followings on music distribution sites.   2. St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department officers have begun operating on 12-hour weekend shifts. The shift change is an effort to reduce the surge of summer violence. On the first day of the new schedule, the department was investigating a homicide that occurred in the 8900 block of Newby Street. (KSDK.com)
  3. A St. Louis mother and daughter battled breast cancer at the same time. Melissa Jones and her mom, Linda Shead, participated in the Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk St. Louis at Tower Grove Park on Saturday. Both women are now cancer-free. (KSDK.com)
