- A multi-vehicle crash closed westbound I-64 near McCausland for nearly seven hours early Sunday morning. Around 3:15 a.m., at least three cars were involved in an accident, one of which caught on fire. Two men, one in critical condition, were taken to a nearby hospital. Lanes reopened by 10 a.m., and accident reconstruction crews are currently investigating. (KMOV.com)
- St. Louis' Dismas House, which runs the oldest halfway house in the country, is being replaced as the halfway house for recently-released federal inmates, according to online contracting documents. The Justice Department awarded a new contract on Friday to Exodus Reentry Villages Inc., which will establish a new halfway house in the former home of the Little Sisters of the Poor on North Florissant Avenue, in the St. Louis Place neighborhood. The facility is expected to house as many as 160 inmates and will open by March 1. (STLtoday.com)
- Local all-volunteer organization, Unhoused STL, spent Sunday distributing donated winter items to people experiencing homelessness in St. Louis. (fox2now.com)
- A 2-year-old child accidentally and fatally shot his father in the back while handling a rifle in their Castle Lane home, St. Louis police say. (KSDK.com)
- A College Hill homeowner says he shot and killed a would-be burglar who was trying to break into his E. Grand home this weekend. The homeowner was taken into custody and homicide detectives are investigating. (fox2now.com)
