Forest Park Parkway Closed After Car Strikes Guard Rail, 1 Killed
Police say one person was killed after concrete fell from an overpass onto Forest Park Parkway. Another person was injured.
ST. LOUIS, MO — Forest Park Parkway is shut down near Union Drive and Lindell Boulevard after a car struck a guard rail on the Union Drive overpass. Concrete appears to have fallen onto Forest Park Parkway, hitting at least one other car. Several ambulances and a medical examiner are on the scene.
Police said shortly before 2 p.m. that one person was killed in the accident. Another was injured. Forest Park Parkway is closed between Union Drive and Kingshighway.
