  1. The St. Louis City Board of Elections is expanding voting opportunities for the upcoming general election. Voters will not be able to utilize No-Excuse Absentee Centers starting on Oct. 25. Voters will still be able to cast a ballot at their usual polling location on Nov. 8, Election Day. There will also be 12 vote centers scattered across the city where voters will be able to cast ballots. (City of St. Louis)
  2. Missouri Gov. Mike Parsons has announced $85 million will be contributed to the St. Louis area's recovery efforts for flood victims. The Federal Emergency Management Agency has approved $35.6 million. The funds will be going toward rental assistance, personal property repairs, and emergency home repairs. (KFVS)
  3. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department has charged Kortlind Lewis, 34, with murder after Darris Mooreland's decomposing body was located along Hall Street. St. Louis County Intelligence officers contacted the department about the body after a witness reported a homicide. Surveillance footage recorded the shooting. Lewis was arrested during a traffic stop. (Fox 2 Now)
