  1. The City Museum has partnered with the St. Louis Facebook group, Date Ideas & Things To Do in STL, for an adult Halloween Game Night. On Oct. 15, game night-goers will have full access to the interior of the City Museum, where there will be games, a DJ, and more. Attendees can take part in a costume contest where the winner will receive an all-inclusive Rooftop Date for eight people. (Riverfront Times)
  2. Gateway Arch Park Foundation is joining forces with Scott Credit Union and the National Park Service to present a Salute To Veterans musical tribute, as a way to honor the bravery and sacrifice of all U.S. military veterans. The program will feature a performance by the 399th Army Band Missouri Brass Quintet based in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and will include both patriotic and traditional repertoire. The Salute to Veterans free concert will take place on Nov. 6th at 2:00 p.m. and is open to the public. (RiverBender.com)
  3. St. Louis Taco Week begins Oct. 17, with more than 20 participating restaurants offering $5 taco specials. (KSDK.com)
