Here are the top three stories in St. Louis today:
- St. Louis County Police Department has issued an endangered silver advisory for a missing 61-year-old man. Jeffrey Eaton went missing from the 2300 block of Ritter Drive on Monday morning. He reportedly has a diminished mental capacity due to a stroke and has trouble walking. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- Historic rainfall caused flash flooding in St. Louis on Tuesday morning. At least one individual died during the incident with many individuals trapped in cars and homes. The St. Louis metro area experienced a record 8.3 inches of rainfall - beating the previous record of 6.85 inches. (USA Today)
- The Steinberg Memorial Skating Rink has posted a reduction in summer skating hours. The reduction is reportedly due to high temperatures occurring throughout the region. Interest in skating has diminished due to the heatwave and concern for heat-related illness has risen. The rink will only be open Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. (Press Release Desk)
