Tipsters, who can stay anonymous, are ordinarily eligible for a reward up to $5,000 for information leading to arrests in murder cases. Imo's donation brings that total to $15,000 for Matthews.

Matthews' friends set up a GoFundMe page following his shooting to raise money for his recovery. The page is now raising money to cover his funeral expenses. So far, the fundraiser has raised more than $15,000, more than half of its $25,000 goal.

According to the fundraising website, Matthews was shot twice in the neck and in critical condition when police found him.

"He was rushed to the hospital where they performed surgery," friend Carrie McGuire wrote.

Fox 2 St. Louis reports that Imo's Pizza confirmed Matthews was a delivery driver for the Morganford and Humphrey location. The store's general manager told the television station he spent the night at the hospital with Matthews.
