Injured 8-Year-Old Girl Shot In Her Bed, Police Ask For Help
The girl was taken to a hospital with a non-life threatening injury. No one else was injured. "Someone knows who did this," police say.

ST. LOUIS, MO — County police say an 8-year-old girl was shot in the leg early Tuesday morning after someone opened fire on a North County residence. The girl, who was sleeping in her bed at the time of the shooting, was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers responded to a shotspotter activation around 3:45 a.m., authorities said, and found the girl injured. Multiple people were with the girl in her home. Numerous shots traveled through the walls of the house, but no one else was injured.
"Someone knows who did this," the St. Louis County Police Dept. posted to its Twitter account, asking for help with their investigation, which is ongoing.
