  1. A man was sentenced on Thursday for his involvement in a shooting and attempted robbery that occurred at a jewelry store in south St. Louis nearly three years ago. Prosecutors say 31-year-old Deven Strauther was one of at least three suspects who attempted to rob Robinson’s Jewelers on May 25, 2019. Strauther has been sentenced to eight years and four months in federal prison for his involvement. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
  2. The St. Louis Zoo welcomed two new leopard cubs in April. Anya and Irina are the first leopard cubs to be born at the Zoo since 2010. Their births mark a significant contribution to the population of Amur leopards, a species that is considered one of the most endangered cats in the world. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
  3. The Broadway-bound "Karate Kid: The Musical" will make its world premiere in the St. Louis area this summer. The musical, which is based on the 1984 film of the same name, debuts at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center on May 25. The show will run through Jun. 26. (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
