1. A man was sentenced on Thursday for his involvement in a shooting and attempted robbery that occurred at a jewelry store in south St. Louis nearly three years ago. Prosecutors say 31-year-old Deven Strauther was one of at least three suspects who attempted to rob Robinson’s Jewelers on May 25, 2019. Strauther has been sentenced to eight years and four months in federal prison for his involvement. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
2. The St. Louis Zoo welcomed two new leopard cubs in April. Anya and Irina are the first leopard cubs to be born at the Zoo since 2010.
