Here are the top three stories today in St. Louis:
- The St. Louis Bread Co., Panera, reports that fan-favorite Cinnamon Crunch Latte has returned. According to a recent survey through St. Louis Bread Co., 65 percent of individuals want a new fall flavor instead of Pumpkin Spice. The Cinnamon Crunch Latte will be available starting today in St. Louis and will hit Panera stores nationwide on Sep. 1. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- City trash is beginning to pile back up, but the city might have a solution. The City of St. Louis will be hosting a job fair on Aug. 30 between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at Wohl on North Kingshighway Boulevard. The city held its first job fair last Tuesday for the Streets Department. The city is hoping the job fairs will fix the department's staffing issues that have been occurring since 2021. - St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones has endorsed Megan Green in the upcoming Board of Aldermen president race. Mayor Jones endorsed Green through a tweet on Tuesday citing her support for working families, minimum wage increases, and equitable development. Jack Coatar has also announced his candidacy.
