- The Karate Kid – The Musical will premiere on May 25 at The Ross Family Theatre. The performance will run until June 26. Amon Miyamoto is directing the musical with Keone and Mari Madrid doing choreography. The musical is based on a 1984 film centered around Daniel LaRusso's karate training by Mr. Miyagi. - A pro-choice rally is being held in Kiener Plaza on Saturday. The rally will have speakers, community-building opportunities, and kid-friendly activities. The rally is in response to the leak of a Supreme Court draft opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade. (St. Louis American)
- St. Louis Alderman John Collins-Muhammad has announced his resignation through an email. Collins-Muhammad represented the 21st Ward in north St. Louis. A source familiar with the situation has reported that the resignation is likely due to Collins-Muhammad being under investigation for bribery. A special election to fill the empty alderman position will likely be held on Aug 2. (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
