Labor Day 2018: What's Open And Closed In St. Louis
Schools are closed, but the Saint Louis Art Museum is open with extended hours.

ST. LOUIS, MO — Whether you're ready or not, the unofficial end of summer is almost here. The Labor Day holiday weekend might be some consolation, but that means some services will be shut down for the long weekend of Sept. 1-3.
Here are some important closings around St. Louis:
- Municipal offices: Closed
- Schools: Closed
- Libraries: Closed
- Liquor and Grocery Stores: All stores will be open; check individually for hours.
- Courts: Closed
- Post offices: Closed
- Saint Louis Art Museum: Open on Labor Day with extended hours
- Saint Louis Zoo: Open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Summer hours end on Labor Day)
- Missouri History Museum: Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- MetroLink and MetroBus: Will operate on Sunday schedules
