  1. Some Missouri lawmakers are considering the adoption of a “Red Flag Law,” which could prevent individuals considered a risk from possessing firearms. The renewed call for action comes after 19-year-old Orlando Harris shot and killed two people at Central Visual and Performing Arts High School last week. Harris’s family says he reacquired the weapon shortly after they had confiscated it from him. (krmsradio.com)
  2. Schnucks shoppers across the region recently raised more than $126,000 to support the United Way of Greater St. Louis. The funds were raised as part of the grocery chain’s “Round Up at the Register” campaign, which ran from Sep. 21-Oct. 4. One hundred percent of the funds raised will support the mission of United Way to help create a stronger, healthier, and more equitable region. (RiverBender.com)
  3. A popular local Thai restaurant is moving from its location in the South Grand neighborhood, where it has been situated since it opened in 1983.
