- St. Louis detectives are asking the community to help identify and locate two individuals that ransacked a USPS mail truck at gunpoint. The incident occurred in the 4000 block of Shaw on Aug. 3. The detectives believe the two suspects are armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to contact CrimeStoppers. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- The St. Louis County Library system is working to connect more residents with the internet. According to the system's deputy director, access to the internet is essential in the modern world. The system has been offering hot spots, Google Chromebook laptops, and virtual tutoring through the Digital Equity Initiative. Seniors were also offered GrandPad tablets. (Ladue News)
- The second former St. Louis Aldermen is scheduled to plead guilty next week to federal corruption charges. Jeffrey Boyd and John Collins-Muhammad will be entering into a guilty plea for accepting cash bribes. Lewis Reed's corruption case is still pending. (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
