Man Charged With Fatally Shooting Woman Through Front Door

Police say Latrail Grant shot Tyesha Seals through the door as she fled after an argument.

ST. LOUIS, MO — Prosecutors have charged 25-year-old Latrail Grant with murder and unlawful possession of a firearm after police say he shot 19-year-old Tyesha Seals in the south city's Gravois Park neighborhood shortly after noon on Sunday.

Grant was one of two men arrested at a house in the 3700 block of Minnesota Avenue after the shooting took place, the Post-Dispatch reports. Police say Grant shot Seals through the door as she fled after an argument. They found her unresponsive on the front lawn a short time later.

Seals was taken to a local hospital where she died.

Later Sunday night, another woman was shot on her front porch less than two miles south in the Dutchtown neighborhood.
