Here are the top three stories in St. Louis today:
- A man died early Sunday morning after running across I-70 trying to evade St. Louis police. Police saw an orange Ford Escape leaving the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhoodwhen he attempted to pull it over because the same type of vehicle was stolen in a carjacking incident on Nov. 15. Two 18-year-old men fled on food, running across I-70. One made it across and was arrested; the other was struck and pronounced dead on scene. (KSDK.com)
- John Gaal, a St. Louis resident, was on a flight from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport headed out west when 45 minutes into the flight the man across the aisle became unconscious. A volunteer for ministries who help homeless people, along with his wife who was also on the plane, the pair each had Narcan with them. Three minutes after administering the Narcan, the man woke up. (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
- A toddler was shot in the eye in south St. Louis on Saturday afternoon. The three-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital from the Benton Park West neighborhood where the shooting occurred and is in critical condition. Police believe the toddler may have shot himself. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
