Man Fatally Shot In South Saint Louis Carondelet Neighborhood

ST. LOUIS, MO — A man in his early 20s was shot Wednesday evening in the Carondelet neighborhood of south St. Louis, KMOV News 4 reports. After being shot in the chest, police say he managed to get to a local hospital where he later died.
The shooting happened sometime before 6:15 p.m. near the intersection of Virginia and Loughborough Avenues, about six blocks southeast of Carondelet Park.
Police have identified any suspects. Anyone with information should contact St. Louis Regional CrimeStoppers toll free at 1-866-371-TIPS (8477). All callers can remain anonymous. Tips can also be submitted through the CrimeStoppers website or free app.
