Man Killed In Drive-By Shooting In St. Louis, 5 Others Injured

ST. LOUIS, MO — A drive-by shooting left one man dead and five others injured in St. Louis Tuesday evening. Police say the shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Billups Avenue in The Ville, a north St. Louis neighborhood.
Police confirmed Wednesday that 40-year-old Stanley Sparking was killed on his front porch when someone opened fire from a black SUV.
A 22-year old man, 33-year old woman, 36-year-old woman, 39-year-old woman, and a 43-year-old man were also injured in the shooting. The two men were critically injured, police said, while the women were grazed or suffered non-life threatening injuries.
