Man Shoots Himself Drawing Gun From Waistband: St. Louis Police

It's not clear why he was drawing the gun to begin with.

ST. LOUIS, MO — A man shot himself in the leg at a car wash on South Kingshighway just after 2 p.m. Wednesday, the Post-Dispatch reports. Police said the 27-year-old man, who hasn't been identified, accidentally fired a handgun as he was removing it from his waistband. It's not clear why he was drawing the gun to begin with. His condition is said to be stable.
