Man Shot Early Tuesday Morning On Washington Avenue In St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO — Police say a man was shot early Tuesday morning in the 1400 block of Washington Avenue, about five blocks north of Memorial Plaza. The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. Fox 2 reports police recovered shell casings at the scene and bullets damaged at least one nearby business.
The victim was taken to a hospital. His condition is unclear, though he is expected to survive.
