  1. A suburban St. Louis man filed a lawsuit in federal court on Monday alleging that police officers punched, kicked, and stomped on him before illegally searching the apartment he shared with his girlfriend, after claiming he had committed a minor traffic violation. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Tranell Stewart, 38, and his former girlfriend, Lisa Jones, against five Maryland Heights police officers and the city of Maryland Heights. The lawsuit accuses the city of not addressing years of unlawful seizures and searches involving Black people. (krcgtv.com)
  2. Jim Butler Auto and Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis are teaming up to give away a 2022 Chevy Equinox during a Thanksgiving vaccination drive. Now through Nov. 22, people 18 and over who get vaccinated at St. Alphonsus Rock Church on Grand Blvd., NorthWest High School on Riverview Blvd. or Greater St. Mark Family Church on Glen Owen Dr. can win the car.
