- St. Louis Mayor Tishaura O. Jones signed a new bill that would use $52 million in federal funds for a guaranteed basic income program. The program aims to support public school children and their families, expand healthcare access, and invest in public safety. (Press Release Desk)
- An estimated 10,000 pieces of unclaimed checked luggage will be moved from the St. Louis Lambert International Airport to an off-site warehouse. The number of unclaimed luggage is due to continued flight cancellations from Southwest Airlines. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- A court order filed on Wednesday ruled that Mark and Patricia McCloskey's pardon did not include the return of their guns. The McCloskeys are known for a now-viral picture of them waving guns at racial injustice protesters in 2020. Missouri Governor Mike Parson later pardoned them after the city seized their weapons.
