- MissouriCon, a pop-culture comic book convention, is coming to St. Louis this weekend. The convention will feature more than 100 vendors and special guests including comic artist Sam De La Rosa and wrestling hall-of-famer Cowboy Bob Orton. Visitors can also participate in a cosplay contest during the event, which takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow at the downtown Holiday Inn. (Riverfront Times)
- The record-breaking musical "Mean Girls" debuts next week in St. Louis. Kaitlyn Louise Smith, a Mehlville High School alum, plays an ensemble member in the production. The musical opens next Tuesday, Feb. 15, at the Fabulous Fox Theatre downtown. (fox2now.com)
