- The award-winning band Muse will be coming to the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis next March as part of a worldwide tour. The popular rock group, known for hits such as “Supermassive Black Hole” and “Uprising,” will be joined by Evanescence for their “Will of the People Tour.” Tickets for the Mar. 5 show go on sale this Friday at 10:00 a.m. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- A pirate-themed Halloween event is open daily at the St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station through Oct. 31. During this family-friendly event, guests will take a self-guided “treasure hunt” tour through various marine habitats and hands-on animal adventures. The aquarium will also host after-hours trick-or-treating on Fridays and Saturdays through the end of the month. (RiverBender.com)
- Several bronze trail markers on the River Des Peres Greenway were discovered stolen Tuesday morning. A total of nine markers were reported missing, including two from each pillar at the Morganford/Carondelet/Germania interchange and one at the entrance to the pedestrian bridge over the River Des Peres.
