Network Outage Suspends Checkouts, Wi-Fi At St. Louis Libraries
An AT&T network outage hit St. Louis libraries Friday, halting book checkouts and suspending internet access. The libraries are still open.

ST. LOUIS, MO — All 17 St. Louis public libraries were hit with an AT&T network outage Thursday night, and as of Friday afternoon book checkouts and internet access have been suspended at some locations. The libraries are still open for in-library book use, and books can be checked in and out at the following locations only: Baden, Barr, Buder, Cabanne, Central, Carondelet, Carpenter, Julia Davis, Divoll and Schlafly. The Walnut Park, Machacek, Kingshighway, Charing Cross, Marketplace and Central Express locations are closed.
Check back for updates. We'll let you know when things are back to normal at the library.
Due to an AT&T network outage at all of our locations, reservable computers, Wi-Fi access and check outs have been suspended. All Library locations are still open for In-Library use and programming.
