New Vendor To Offer Concessions At Gateway Arch
A new vendor will offer food and beverages at the Gateway Arch after its yearslong renovation is complete.

ST. LOUIS, MO — The National Park Service announced last week the selection of The Arch Café LLC for a 10-year concession contract at Jefferson National Expansion Memorial. Visitor services to be provided include food and beverage services in the new café in the underground Arch Visitor Center as well as at multiple locations on the park grounds. The new café area is part of the partner-funded multimillion dollar renovation of the Arch complex and grounds.
The Arch Café LLC. is part of Evelyn Hill Inc., a third-generation family-owned company that has been the exclusive concessionaire at the Statue of Liberty National Monument for the past 86 years. Since 1936 they have provided visitor services at Fort McHenry in Baltimore, MD., and in 2009 further extended service to Ellis Island. Evelyn Hill Inc. has been a leader in concessionaire sustainability methods, having zero waste initiatives, offsetting their carbon footprint and building LEED Platinum facilities. “We are very excited and honored to operate the brand new Arch Café and are looking forward to being a part of the local community,” said Bradford A. Hill, the company's president. “The strengths we bring to the new restaurant are high quality services and a dedicated team that will contribute to enhancing the visitor experience."
The new contract results from a solicitation process required by the National Park Service Concessions Management Improvement Act of 1998. The Service released the prospectus on May 24, 2017, and accepted proposals through August 24, 2017. The new contract goes into effect on January 1, 2018. Arch Café LLC will begin the preparations to provide the services outlined in the contract and the park will announce a grand opening of the café at a later date. The new café, along with current vending and outdoor cart operations, will expand the selections of food and beverages available to visitors.
