One Dead, Two Injured In Olive Bar Shooting In Saint Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO — One person is dead and two others injured after a shooting at The Olive Bar in midtown St. Louis late Sunday night. Multiple shooters fired dozens of shots into the bar from a dark-colored vehicle, police said, before driving away heading west down Olive Street.
A man in his 20s died at the scene, while two other men in their 20s were taken to a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds. One was shot in the stomach and another in the leg. Both are said to be in stable condition.
The bar was holding private event when the shooting happened, police said. No further details were released.

Last year St. Louis cracked its 25-year murder record. Per capita, the city ranks third for homicides in the United States and first for non-fatal shootings, according to data from the FBI and Major Cities Chiefs Association.
