Owner Of 'Gus Gus Fun Bus' Hit In Robbery Attempt, In ICU

ST. LOUIS, MO — Mike Arnold, the owner of "Gus Gus Fun Bus," a local party bus available for events, winery trips and pub cruises, was hit by a truck Saturday afternoon in downtown St. Louis as he tried to take photos of suspects in an attempted robbery.
The attack happened just after 12:30 p.m. on Chestnut Street, less than a block from Kiener Plaza where Arnold had been participating in "Taste of Downtown STL," a restaurant festival.
Another person was also struck during the robbery attempt, the Post-Dispatch reports.

Fox 2 St. Louis reports Arnold suffered multiple broken bones, cuts and lacerations. He is currently in intensive care and breathing on a ventilator.
Arnold's family told the station that he was intentionally hit, but police haven't released any further details or identified any suspects.

A friend of Arnold's family has set up a GoFundMe page to cover medical bills and support his family while he is in the hospital. Several area businesses will also be holding fundraisers over the next few days.

- Third Wheel Brewing will donate $1 from every pint or flight and 10 percent of all food purchases during Trivia Night. Trivia is free for 21+, and begins at 7:30 p.m.
- Thursday, 6/21:
- Main and Mill Brewing will donate 15 percent of all sales
- Kirkwood Station Brewing will donate 100 percent of beer sales from the Moore Bier Series. Begins at 5pm. Cash donations will also be shared on-site.
- Two Plumbers Brewery will donate 15 percent of all sales.
- Gioia's will donate 100 percent of profit from all sales. The Hill location will be staying open until 8pm, with live music from Matt Dal and beer from 2nd Shift Brewing.
- Ferguson Brewing Company will donate 15 percent of all sales.
- Yoga Buzz at the Weingarten will donate 20 percent of all ticket sales.
- Saturday, 6/23
- Steve's Hot Dogs (both locations) will donate 15 percent of all sales all day. The Hill location (2131 Marconi) is open 10 am to 4 pm. The TG location is 3457 Magnolia from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
