Here are the top three stories in St. Louis today:
- The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is looking to charge two St. Louis women who broke into a home on Deer Hollow Road near De Soto. Officials say the women – one 29 and one 39 – were seen breaking into the home on surveillance video. One woman was found inside the home when police arrived, while the other was found in a wooded area nearby. Though the house was in disarray, it is not clear the pair attempted to take anything. - Two women were shot around 11 a.m. on Sunday morning near the intersection of Michigan and Loughborough in South City. One woman was shot in the torso and died. The other victim, who was shot in the neck, was in stable condition as of Sunday afternoon. No other details about the shooting were available Sunday evening. (KMOV4)
- A local artist has stepped in after Steve's Hot Dogs fells victim to smash-and-grab thieves recently. Artist Sarah Shelton, with Girl Louie, painting a mural to the door on the eatery inspired by the restaurant and St. Louis. The artist said, "One night doesn’t have to impact the rest of our days."
