- A local pastry shop has been ranked the best in the state of Missouri in a new list published by Yelp. Nathaniel Reid Bakery, which is located in the 11000 block of Manchester Road in Kirkwood, has been serving up a variety of fresh-baked goods and pastries since it opened in 2016. The restaurant has also been recognized for a variety of Missouri-based and Food Network awards. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- The victim of a Sunday night homicide in St. Louis County has been identified as 33-year-old Mikiah Darden. The incident occurred around 10:02 p.m. on Nov. 13 in the 11100 block of Riaza Square, where Darden was fatally shot in what police believe was the result of an altercation. Detectives with the St. Louis County Police Department are actively investigating the incident and encourage anyone with information to call 636-529-8210. (RiverBender.com)
- Jay Leno's performance at the Fabulous Fox Theatre this weekend has been canceled after the comedian suffered serious burns from a gasoline fire. Leno was slated to perform this Friday, Nov. 18, alongside Jeff Foxworthy but told Variety he now plans to take a "week or two" to recover. Everyone who purchased tickets to Friday's show will receive an automatic refund from the theatre in the next seven to 10 days. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
