Police have taken a "person of interest" into custody in the triple homicide in Spanish Lake reported Thursday. He is said to be a 27-year-old man, but police have not released any further details about his identity of possible motive.

The bodies of two men and a woman were found inside a home in the 1100 block of Northdale Avenue in north St. Louis County late Wednesday night. Another woman was found injured with gunshot wounds outside the home. She was taken to a hospital where her condition is said to be critical.

Police responded to the home shortly before midnight after neighbors reported gunshots. St. Louis County Police officer Benjamin Granda said investigators found no signs of forced entry at the home.
