- The dangerously cold temperatures throughout St. Louis are causing burst and frozen pipes for residents. A pipe in one St. Ann apartment building in the 3700 block of Ashby exploded Friday morning. Demesha Coleman, 35, was arrested for the murders of 19-year-old Darius Jackson and 49-year-old Joseph Farrar. After they stole her Hyundai, Coleman tracked the men down to a Speedie Gas near North Broadway Street and Riverview Boulevard. Another man was also shot in the head, but survived the attack.
