Police Ask For Help Identifying MetroBus Shooter

Kenneth Pointer, 35, was fatally shot while riding a bi-state MetroBus Saturday night. Can you help ID his killer?

Police are looking for a man they say shot fatally a bi-state MetroBus passenger Saturday night. Both the shooter and his victim, 35-year-old Kenneth Pointer, were passengers on the same northbound bus. Police say the two men began arguing when the shooter pulled out a gun and shot Pointer several times.

After being shot, Pointer got off the bus near the 1200 block of South Florissant Road in Cool Valley, Missouri, a north St. Louis County community. Pointer attempted to flee, but the shooter followed him, continuing to shoot him until he died.

The attack happened around 9 p.m., police said.
