Police Close McKinley Bridge After Suspect Shoots At Officers
KMOV reports police deployed spike strips on the bridge during a police chase that started in Brooklyn, Illinois.

ST. LOUIS, MO — The McKinley bridge, which crosses the Mississippi River in north St. Louis, was closed for about an hour Tuesday morning due to a "police event," the Illinois Department of transportation said on Twitter. The bridge is currently open, but officials say to use caution as traffic patterns return to normal.
KMOV reports the bridge was closed due to a police chase. Police deployed spike strips on the bridge and managed to arrest a suspect who shot at officers in Brooklyn, Illinois, the television station said.
