- St. Louis police are seeking details after a juvenile was shot and taken to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon. Police say the juvenile was in critical condition as of Wednesday evening after being shot, possibly in the Hyde Park neighborhood at the 3500 block of North 11th Street. The investigation is ongoing and details including the juvenile's age have not yet been confirmed. (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
- Get ready for (even) warmer weather, St. Louis! Temperatures are forecasted to hit 90 degrees in the area next week. This Sunday, Mother's Day, forecasters predict temperatures will rise to 80 degrees after showers on Friday night. View the full forecast at the link. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- A proposed bill is attempting to prohibit tents on public right-of-way streets across St. Louis City. Board Bill No. 14 would limit temporary or permanent shelters that obstruct any part “of a street, alley, sidewalk, pedestrian or bicycle path, easement, body of water, drainage works such as River Des Peres, and any other property that is owned, controlled, or maintained by the City of St. Louis.” The St. Louis City Public Safety Committee discussed the bill during its Wednesday meeting.
