Here are the top three stories today in St. Louis:

  1. Post Malone fell through a stage opening during his St. Louis performance on Saturday. The singer/rapper went to a local hospital after the show at the Enterprise Center and got x-rays. He reportedly only bruised some ribs. (ABC17News.com)
  2. Despite weather delays, Saturday's Great Forest Park Balloon Race drew thousands of participants. The race is not about speed or distance but precision. The 51 participants must get bean bags into an X on the ground. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
  3. St. Louis is no longer the Murder Capital of America. New Orleans now has that title due to a 141 increase in homicides in the last few years. New Orleans has 52 homicides per 100,000 residents, while St. Louis has 45. In comparison, New York City has 3.5 homicides per 100,000 residents. (NY Post)
