Protesters 'Trick Or Treat' St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson
Trick or Treat? Protests related to the acquittal of former police officer Jason Stockley continued Halloween night at the mayor's house.

ST. LOUIS, MO — A special group of trick or treaters showed up at the home of St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson last night: protesters. Part of ongoing protests related to the acquittal of former police officer Jason Stockley for the fatal shooting of a black motorist, Anthony Lamar Smith, in 2011, about two dozen people gathered on the steps of Krewson's house in the Central West End Halloween night.
Police officers kept watch as the mayor sat on the steps and talked with some of the protesters, who were peaceful, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
It is unknown whether they received any candy.
