  1. A spokesperson for Representative Cori Bush says the congresswoman's vehicle was hit by gunfire in the St. Louis area last Saturday. The source reports that Bush was not in the vehicle at the time of the gunfire and was not injured. Officials say there was evidence that someone had tampered with the door handles of nearby cars, but they do not believe that Bush was targeted in the attack. (KSDK.com)
  2. The State of Missouri is suing a former St. Louis mayoral candidate for failing to file fundraising reports during his 2017 campaign. The Missouri Attorney General’s office filed the lawsuit against 43-year-old Johnathan McFarland in the Cole County Circuit Court on Wednesday. McFarland came in fourth in the 2017 general election with 2.1% of the vote.(STLtoday.com)
  3. The National Blues Museum announced plans to create a special exhibit to educate visitors about the Spanish Flu pandemic. The exhibit will feature music written in response to the 1918 flu and will explore how artists and musical venues dealt with the tragedy. The museum plans to open the exhibit in early March.
