TV Host Axed For Threatening To Sexually Assault Parkland Student
The St. Louis commentator made threats involving a "hot poker" directed at Florida school shooting survivor David Hogg.

ST. LOUIS, MO — Jamie Allman, a conservative commentator, has resigned and his show has been removed from a St. Louis television station after he threatened gun reform activist and Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg on Twitter. KDNL Channel 30, a Sinclair Broadcast Group station, made the decision to cancel "The Allman Report" after several businesses pulled their advertising from his program.
Among those businesses were Ruth's Chris Steak House, The Gellman Team — a real estate firm — and Ladue-based PALM Health.
Allman reportedly Tweeted the threat March 26, writing, according to screenshots taken by the Post-Dispatch: "When we kick their a-- they all like to claim we're drunk. I've been hanging out getting ready to ram a hot poker up David Hogg's a-- tomorrow. Busy working. Preparing." Allman has now locked his Twitter account and no Tweets are visible on his page without requesting permission to follow him.

After the Tweet, state Rep. Stacey Newman, a Democrat from Richmond Heights, and others organized a boycott of Allman's programs.
“I’m amazed at the outcry,” the Post-Dispatch quotes Newman as saying. She added that people from across Missouri and the country have weighed in to let the station know Allman's actions are unacceptable. "People know where the line is," she said.

After the news of Allman's firing, Newman said on Twitter that getting the commentator off the air "took a village."
It took a village of thousands working the past 5 days but we all said NO to HATE.

Allman still has a radio program on KFTK 97.1 FM. No word on whether that program will be cancelled as well.
