Saint Louis Sheriff's Deputy Punched On MetroBus
The 25-year-old deputy believes he was attacked because he was in uniform.

OVERLAND, MO — Fox 2 St. Louis reports a 25-year-old St. Louis Sheriff's deputy was attacked on his morning bus ride Wednesday, and he blames the fact that he was in uniform. Corian Byrd, who has been a deputy for a little less than a year, said he was confronted by a man on a MetroBus around 6:30 a.m.
According to Byrd, the man looked down at his badge, then punched him three times in the face. Byrd suffered minor bruising and swelling, and the man was arrested by Overland police, who are investigating the incident.
