Saint Louis Courts Offer Outstanding Warrant Amnesty Program
Do you have an outstanding warrant? Get a new court date or payment plan for the original fine with no penalty.

ST. LOUIS, MO — From Jan. 29 to Feb. 1, St. Louis City Municipal Court will hold a warrant amnesty program, allowing anyone with an outstanding warrant for violating city ordinances — excluding DUIs, leaving the scene of an accident and prostitution — to pay their original fines without penalty.
Anyone who wants to take advantage of the amnesty should visit the court at 1520 Market Street (enter off 16th Street). The court will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Jan. 30 and 31. Participants should bring photo ID. There is no fee to participate. Check to see if you have an outstanding warrant here.
Once outstanding warrants are resolved, defendants will receive a new court date or a new payment plan. Rescheduling a court date is free, but if a defendant misses a reassigned court date, a new warrant will be issued. No defendants will be arrested in court during the amnesty.

“The City of St. Louis has more than 54,000 outstanding warrants," said city court administrator Richard Torack. "We encourage individuals who have not yet resolved a warrant to use this program as an opportunity to fulfill their obligations to the law without facing undue hardship."
