No arrests have been made and police haven't named any suspects for the hit-and-run crash that left Catherine Ahrens dead.

ST. LOUIS, MO —Catherine Ahrens, 68, was killed Friday afternoon when another driver ran a stop sign on Meramec Street near South Compton Avenue, the Post-Dispatch reports. Police released her identity Monday. A 58-year-old man, who was driving the car in which Ahrens was a passenger, was also injured in the crash. He is in critical condition.

The driver that crashed into Ahrens' Ford Taurus fled the scene, police said, leaving his 2001 BMW 530 behind at the crash site. No one has been arrested and police say they do not have a detailed description of the hit-and-run driver.
