Saint Louis Man Sentenced To 60 Months For Sex Trafficking

Sean McChord O'Donnell pleaded guilty to charges related to pimping out young girls, one of whom was 15 years old.

ST. LOUIS, MO — Sean McChord O'Donnell, 53, has been sentenced to 60 months in prison for charges related to sex trafficking, including racketeering and using interstate facilities to promote prostitution. Court documents say O'Donnell traveled to a motel in St. Louis in November 2016 to meet with a 21-year-old prostitute who was addicted to heroin. Prosecutors said he paid her for sex and provided transportation, security and online advertising for future acts of prostitution.

O'Donnell then began serving as a pimp for a 15-year-old girl, identified in court documents only as Jane Doe, who had been missing since September 2016. Between November 2016 and January 2017, police say O'Donnell rented hotel rooms for Jane Doe, who was underage and had no identification, and paid for internet advertisements, posting semi-naked photos of her online.

Police found Jane Doe at a hotel room on January 24, 2017, during a sting operation, and later determined that O'Donnell had rented the room.
