- A new in-gallery exhibit is now open at the St. Louis Art Museum, featuring original artwork about parenthood in its myriad forms. The exhibit includes 58 pieces of art including drawings, mixed media, paintings, printmaking, sculptures, and more. A free reception will be held this Saturday, Apr. 23, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. (KMOV4)
- The Build My Future St. Louis Chapter is hosting an interactive career fair tomorrow, Apr. 20, at the St. Charles Family Arena. The career fair is designed to help generate interest for construction-industry jobs, where the pipeline of new workers is dwindling. - Stray Rescue of St. Louis will be waiving adoption fees for some pets through the end of the month. Until the end of April, anyone looking to adopt a dog or cat over six months old will not be required to pay an adoption fee.
