  1. The city’s Major League Soccer (MLS) expansion team unveiled its first primary home kit prior to Wednesday’s game. St. Louis CITY SC’s kit is red with navy and yellow accents and includes a patch of the city’s flag along the bottom hem of the jersey. The kit will be worn by players for the 2023 and 2024 MLS seasons. (KSDK)
  2. Police are investigating after a teenager was shot Wednesday morning in north St. Louis. The 15-year-old boy was found suffering from a gunshot wound to his knee in the lobby of the Homer G. Phillips Senior Apartments, though the incident allegedly occurred elsewhere. Investigators say the victim is conscious and breathing; however, they have not yet determined the extent of his injuries. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
  3. St. Louis-based furniture retailer Weekends Only has announced plans to close its doors. The retailer currently employs around 400 people and has been operating for 25 years. While the store’s owners have not released an official timeline for the closures, a report from FurnitureToday.com indicates the company may begin its liquidation process as early as January 2023.
