  1. The 22nd Annual Whitaker St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase will be from Jul. 15 through Jul. 24. The showcase is the area's primary venue for local films. Participants will be able to screen narrative and documentary films while participating in Q&A sessions with filmmakers. The films will be screened at Washington University's Brown Hall.   2. The St. Louis City Election Board has decided to hold a Special Election on Aug. 2 to fill the vacant seat in Ward 21. The seat became vacant when Alderman John Collins-Muhammad resigned due to a federal indictment for bribery. Whoever is chosen during the special election will serve until the next General Municipal Election in 2023. (Press Release Desk)
  3. St. Louis Lambert International Airport's credit outlook has been revised. S&P Global has given the airport a positive credit outlook while affirming its long-term rating of an A-. If the airport's passenger rate increases, then S&P will raise its long-term rating. (Press Release Desk)
