Here are the top three stories in St. Louis today:
- U.S. Reps. Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, and Ayanna Pressley stumped for U.S. Rep. Cori Bush on Friday. The group is part of the informal group of progressive Democratic women in the U.S. House called "the squad". Bush will be facing Sen. Steve Roberts in the Aug. 2 Democratic Primary. - A missing Michigan girl has been reunited with her father in St. Louis. The girl was abducted by her non-custodial mother during a violent home invasion. The suspects reportedly shot at the father during the incident. Charges have not been filed yet. Thankfully, the girl is in good spirits and is uninjured. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- The independent report on the St. Louis County Justice Center has been made public. The CGL audit report highlights the major needs and strengths of the center. The Justice Services Advisory Board presented the report on Friday morning. The report indicates that the center is safe and orderly. (KMOV4)
