- Two explosions destroyed part of a south St. Louis auto repair shop on Friday morning. Officials say one person was hurt during the incident at Shawn's Master Auto Repair, located at 7027 Hampton Avenue, in the St. Louis Hills neighborhood. According to Captain Leon Whitener with the St. Louis Fire Department, the west side of the building collapsed and the nature of the explosion is being investigated. (KSDK.com)
- A new photo exhibit features homeless vets from St. Louis and all across the nation. In the Faces of Patriotism: The Homeless Veterans Project by Jerry Tovo is on display now, giving voices to veterans through a collection of striking portraits. The public can view the exhibit through Jun. 11. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
- Officers interrupted an active shooting just after midnight on Friday in north St. Louis. No injuries were reported in the shooting, which took place on Thrush Avenue near North Broadway. The shooters ran away when the police arrived. (KTVI Fox 2 St. Louis)
