- A 26-year-old woman has been found guilty of robbing and kidnapping an 80-year-old woman. Ginger Ephrim robbed the woman outside of a Schnucks grocery store on July 29, 2020 and forced her to a local ATM to withdraw more cash. The sentencing for Ephrim has been scheduled for August. (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
- St. Louis Central Library has been named one of the most beautiful libraries in the country by Fodor's Travels. The library located on Olive Street displays some of the country's finest architecture. The building underwent a renovation project in 2012 to restore some of its Italian Renaissance architecture. The 110-year-old building continues to inspire St. Louis residents. (Riverfront Times)
- The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for St. Louis. The advisory will last until today at 8:00 p.m. The advisory was issued as a response to the heat index rising above 100 degrees. Residents are urged to drink plenty of water while staying out of the sun. (ABC17News.com)
