St. Louis County Man Charged In Toddler's Death
An autopsy revealed that 2-year-old Cayden Carson had been kicked, squeezed and hit.

JENNINGS, MO — Corey Miller, a 24-year-old north St. Louis County man, has been charged with murder after an autopsy revealed a toddler had been kicked, squeezed and hit while in his custody. Two-year-old Cayden Carson died Sunday after officers were called to the 5600 block of Helen Avenue in the Walnut Park West neighborhood of Jennings, Mo. The boy was unresponsive and taken to a hospital where he died, according to medical examiners, of blunt force trauma.
The Post-Dispatch reports Miller was "a caretaker known by family members," citing an email from a spokesperson with the St. Louis County Police Department.
Miller is held on $250,000 bond.
